Thanks to organic growth and the effect of recent acquisitions, Agility has made it into the top ten of global third party logistics providers (3PLs) for 2008.
That’s according to the annual Who’s Who in Logistics guide published by Armstrong & Associates (A&A) and revealed to the public in Logistics Management magazine.
Armstrong & Associates’ list focuses on what it describes as value-added warehousing and distribution services. It does not include trucking companies or public warehousing operations and tries to eliminate non-3PL revenues from its calculations.
A&A ranks companies by gross revenue based on company reports and its own estimates.
